Introducing Deliver Now by eZhire: One Tap, Real-Time Logic, Zero Friction

Car rental has always involved a series of small decisions before a customer can get moving:
where the car should be delivered, when the booking should start, how long the rental
should last, and where the vehicle should be collected. These details matter, especially for
planned rentals. But in moments of immediate need, they can also become friction.

At eZhireour vision has always been clear: to redefine mobility by making car rentals as
simple, accessible, and on-demand as a ride-hailing service. Over the years, we have taken
consistent steps toward that vision — from launching one of the region’s first app-based
rental experiences, to introducing delivery service, deposit-free rentals, instant delivery,
multiple payment options, and other product innovations designed around the customer
convenience.

Today, we are taking another step forward with Deliver Now

Deliver Now is a new one-tap booking feature inside the eZhire app that turns the rental
journey into a faster, more intuitive, location-aware experience. Instead of asking customers
to manually enter delivery details, select times, and move through multiple setup steps,
Deliver Now allows them to start a booking using their current location and the earliest
available delivery time.

The idea is simple: when a customer needs a car now, the app should understand that
context and remove every unnecessary step.

Why We Built Deliver Now

ezhire rent a car

Modern customers are used to services that respond instantly. Meals, groceries, taxis, and
daily essentials can be requested with just a few taps. Car rental should not feel like filling
out a long form when the customer’s intent is already clear: “I need a car delivered to me as
soon as possible.”

That is the gap Deliver Now is designed to close.

Traditional rental flows work well when a customer is planning ahead. But when someone is
standing outside, at a hotel, at home, near an office, or anywhere inside an active eZhire, in a
service city, the experience should be much faster. The customer should not have to think
through every detail upfront. The app should handle the obvious parts intelligently and let
the customer adjust only what matters.

Deliver Now is our answer to that expectation.

What Happens Behind One Tap

On the surface, Deliver Now looks simple. A customer opens the app, selects a car, and taps
Deliver Now. But behind that single tap, several products and technology decisions work
together.

When the app is opened, it reads the customer’s GPS location, provided location services are
enabled. It then checks whether the customer is inside a city where eZhire currently
operates. If the location is valid and serviceable, the Deliver Now option becomes available.

Once the customer taps Deliver Now, the app uses the current location as both the delivery
address and collection address. The booking start time is automatically calculated based on
the current time plus a city-specific delivery buffer. This buffer is important because it
reflects real-world logistics such as traffic, fleet availability, delivery capacity, and operational
readiness.

By default, the booking is set for one day. From the checkout screen, the customer can
increase the rental duration by selecting additional days. The same standard pricing logic
applies as it does in the regular booking flow. And if the customer wants to change any detail
— delivery location, collection location, start time, or duration — they can still move back
into the standard booking experience.

This is what makes Deliver Now powerful: it removes friction without removing control.

Designed for Real-World Mobility

Speed is important, but reliability is even more important.

We did not build Deliver Now to make unrealistic promises. A true instant rental experience
must balance customer expectations with operational reality. That is why the feature uses
city-specific buffers instead of simply promising “right now” delivery everywhere.

Each city has different traffic patterns, delivery conditions, and fleet dynamics. By building
buffer logic into the booking flow, we can give customers a fast experience while still setting
expectations honestly. The goal is not just to make the booking faster. The goal is to make
the entire experience dependable.

This is also why GPS accuracy matters. Deliver Now only works when location services are
enabled and functioning properly. If we are going to use the customer’s current location as
the delivery and collection point, that location needs to be reliable. A frictionless experience
should never come at the cost of accuracy.

How Customers Can Use Deliver Now

Using Deliver Now is intentionally simple:

1. Enable GPS on your device.
2. Open the eZhire app while inside an active service city.
3. Select the car you want.
4. Tap Deliver Now on the booking screen.
5. Your current location is automatically set as the delivery and collection point.
6. Your start time is set to the earliest available slot based on the city buffer.
7. Your default booking duration is set to one day.
8. You can increase the number of rental days on the checkout screen.
9. Standard rates apply as they do in the normal booking flow.
10. You can edit any detail if you want to return to the standard booking journey.

The experience is built for customers who value speed, but it remains flexible for customers
who need to make changes.

More Than a Shortcut

Deliver Now is not just a shortcut in the app. It represents a broader shift in how we think
about car rental.

For decades, car rental has been built around forms, counters, schedules, and manual
coordination. At eZhire, we believe the future will be different. The rental experience should
be digital-first, location-aware, operationally intelligent, and available on demand.

With Deliver Now, we are reducing the distance between customer intent and customer
mobility. The moment someone decides they need a car, the app can understand where they
are, calculate the earliest realistic delivery time, simplify the booking setup, and move them
directly toward checkout.

That is the kind of experience modern mobility requires.

What Comes Next

As we roll out Deliver Now, we will continue learning from customer behavior. We will look
at how often customers use the feature, how many adjust their rental duration at checkout,
how often they return to the standard flow, and how performance varies across cities.

These insights will help us improve the experience further. Over time, Deliver Now can
become smarter, more personalized, and available across more locations. We will continue
refining the logic behind delivery buffers, location accuracy, default durations, and customer
preferences.

Our goal is clear: to make car rental feel as effortless as possible while maintaining the
reliability customers expect from eZhire.

The fastest booking is the one you do not have to think about. With Deliver Now, we are
making that experience real.

The future of car rental is instant, intelligent, and frictionless — and it starts with one tap.
