eZhire Technologies FZ LLC and/or its affiliates (collectively “eZhire”, “we” or “us”) collects information about you when you use our mobile applications, websites, call-center, and other products and services (collectively, the “Services”) and through other interactions and communications, you have with us. This privacy policy sets out the basis on which any information, including any personal data, we collect from you, or you provide to us, will be processed by eZhire. Each time you access or use the Services or provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this privacy policy.

When you use eZhire, you trust us with your personal data. We’re committed to keeping that trust. That starts with helping you understand our privacy practices.

  1. Scope

This Privacy policy applies to users of eZhire’s services anywhere in the world, including users of eZhire’s apps, websites, features, or other services. This notice describes how eZhire and its affiliates collect and use personal data.

  1. Collection of Information

We collect the information you provide directly to us through your access or use of the Services, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include your name, email address, phone number, postal address, payment method, financial and credit card information, and other information you choose to provide.

Please note that we do not knowingly collect, keep or maintain personal information from children under the age of 18 through the Services, as we require that all users represent to us that they are at least 18 years old.



Information We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services

When you use our Services, we collect personal information (i.e. information that could be used to contact you directly such as full name, postal address, phone number, credit/debit card information, or email address) (“Personal Information”) 

We also use GPS technology to determine your current location. Some of our location-enabled Services require your personal data for the feature to work. If you wish to use the particular feature, you will be asked to consent to the data being used for this purpose.

Information We Collect From Other Sources

We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with Personal Data we receive from you or collect through our Services. For example:

If you choose to link, create, or log in to your eZhire account with social media service (e.g., Facebook), or if you engage with a separate app or website that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive information about you or your connections from that site or app.

  1. The Use of Personal Information

We may use Personal Data that you provide to us or we collect from you to:

  1. Provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users and vendors, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages;

  2. Perform internal administration and operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;

  3. Send or facilitate communications (i) between you and service provider, such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs), or (ii) between you and a contact of yours at your direction in connection with your use of certain features, such as referrals or invites;

  4. Send you communications we think will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news, and events of eZhire and other companies, where permissible and according to local applicable laws; and to process contest, sweepstake, or other promotion entries and fulfill any related awards;

  5. Notify you about changes to our Services;

  6. Allow you to participate in interactive features of our Services;

  7. Keep our Services safe and secure; and

  8. Personalize and improve the Services, including providing or recommending features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements.

 

  1. Storage of Personal Data

You agree that we have the right to transfer the Personal Data described in this privacy policy, to and from, and process and store it in the United Arab Emirates and other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than the region in which you reside. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your Personal Data in accordance with this privacy policy. By submitting your Personal Data, you agree to this transfer, storing, or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

  1. Sharing of Personal Data

eZhire does not sell or share user personal data with third parties for their direct marketing. We may share Personal Data that we collect about you as described in this privacy policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows:

Through our services, we may provide your personal data  (name, contact details, and location) to our partners to facilitate the car delivery/collection at your doorstep.

In addition to this, the relevant documents you upload to rent a car are also shared with the vendors (suppliers) as per the requirements of the Roads and Transport Authority of the respective countries/cities (Government Rules and Regulations).

  1. Safety and Security Precautions

Your eZhire profile is password-protected so that only you and authorized eZhire employees have access to your account information. eZhire staff will never proactively reach out to you and ask for your password. 

Using the device, location, user profile, usage, and other data to prevent, detect, and combat fraud. This includes identifying fraudulent accounts or uses of our services, preventing the use of our services by unauthorized persons, verifying user identities in connection with certain payment methods, and preventing and combating unauthorized access to users’ accounts.

  1. Customer Support

eZhire uses the information we collect (which may include call recordings) to provide customer support, including to investigate and address user concerns and to monitor and improve our customer support responses and processes. eZhire performs the above activities on the grounds that they are necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under our Terms of Use or other agreements with users.

  1. Research and Development

We may use personal data for testing, research, analysis, product development, and machine learning to improve the user experience. This helps us make our services more convenient and easy to use, enhance the safety and security of our services, and develop new services and features. eZhire performs the above activities on the grounds that they are necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under our Terms of Use or other agreements with users in improving our existing services and features, or for purposes of eZhire’s legitimate interests in developing new services and features.

  1. Changes to this Privacy Policy 

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes in the way we treat your Personal Data, or to the privacy policy, we will provide you notice through the Services or by some other means, such as email. Your continued use of the Services after such notice constitutes your consent to the changes. We encourage you to periodically review this privacy policy for the latest information on our privacy practice.

  1. Erasing Your Personal Information 

When can you request erasure? 

You have a right to have your personal information erased, and to prevent processing, where: 

the personal information is no longer necessary for the purpose it was originally collected/processed 

you withdraw consent (where previously provided) 

you object to the processing and our legitimate interests in being able to keep processing your Personal information do not take priority 

we have been processing your personal information in breach of data protection laws 

the personal information has to be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation.  

User can request data deletion at request delete account, by entering email and password.
