The Sharjah Classic Car Museum features more than 100 classic cars from renowned brands all over the world. The Sharjah Classic Car Museum first opened its doors to the public in 2008 by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed.
The Classic Car Museum features one of the rarest and coveted cars on the planet and is a great place to visit for auto enthusiasts and for the whole family. The Museum showcases cars from as early as 1915 to favorite classics like Rolls Royce automobiles and Mercedes Benz Limousines.
The Museum is a perfect place to spend the afternoon with family and friends. The Museum is also a great place for Car Enthusiasts and Hard Core hobbyist because of the number of rare and hard to find cars on display.
Where is it Located?
The Museum is easily accessible and anyone who is visiting Sharjah would make the museum as a must see. The Museums close proximity to the Sharjah International Airport makes it an ideal spot over before enjoying the rest of Sharjah or a quick visit in between layovers.
The Sharjah Classic Cars Museum is located on the Airport road. It is located between the 4th and 5th intersection alongside the Sharjah International Airport and across the Sharjah Discovery Center.
When to Visit?
The Museum can be visited almost every day of the week except Sundays. The Museum is open at 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM from Saturday to Thursday and 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday.
How Much is the Ticket?
The Museums admission is very much affordable for most visitors and tourist and anyone visiting Sharjah should make it a point to drop by in the Museum. The entry fee to the Museum is 10 AED for Adults and children aged 13 and above. Children aged 2 to 12 years old is 5 AD and the Museum is free for children under 2 years old.

The Museum is a great place for the whole family and is the perfect place for children to learn and enjoy about automobiles and its history. The Displays and Dioramas give children a great chance to learn and interact with engines, and how cars work.
For the Car Enthusiast, the Classic Car Museum is the place to spend some time and enjoy the marvel of classic cars from a different era. Some cars on display is a 1915 Dodge Model. The 1915 Dodge automobile is the oldest car on display on the museum and is perfectly restored.
Another rare car on display is the 1969 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman. There are only 2,677 models of the car produced. The rare automobile belongs to His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi. The model on display features bulletproof panels and has been meticulously restored. The Museum also houses a 1957 Bedford truck that was formerly used by the UAE Military. The British Made Truck has a 6 cylinder engine and a maximum speed of 70 miles per hour.
The Museum also hosts plenty of other vintage vehicles from prestigious brands like a Rolls Royce Limousine. A fleet of Mercedes Benz from every era and a wide collection of Muscle Cars. An hour touring the museum is not enough as visitors will find the Museum’s collection plentiful and diverse. The Museums has a number of rare cars that only a few examples are up on display for the public.

The Museum also has automobiles from every era from 1915, the 1940s and all the way to the groovy 1980s.
The Museum has a wide collection of American Muscle Cars like the 1970 Ford Mustang in flaming red to large Chevrolet Chevelles from different eras all restored to perfection.
The Museum also houses classic European cars that are popular in the Middle East like Mercedes Benz E- Class and all from different eras. The Museum also houses exotic brands like Opel, Porches, and many more.
The Museum not only has 4 wheeled automobiles but also has class motorcycles on display and also has a collection of bicycles from the last decade.
The Museum is definitely a great place to visit and should be in the “must visit” list for any car enthusiast. The museum houses cars that are meticulously restored that would make any collector look with envy.
The Museum not only has vintage cars but also has plenty of memorabilia on display from the past. Iconic items like a vintage camera can be found on display as part of the Museums collection. Rare and iconic motorcycles are also part of the Museums collection as well as a number of vintage bicycles.
The Museum also has a number of interactive displays that let visitors get an up-close feel of the vintage automobiles on display making sure that visitors not only go home with a picture but with fond memories as well
