Emirates National Auto Museum

The Emirates National Auto Museum is a private collection of cars by HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. The automobile collection is housed in an elaborate pyramid located 40 km from Abu Dhabi and roughly an hour drive with your eZhire vehicle.

The Emirates National Auto Museum is home to several Guinness record-breaking vehicles and some notable and rare vehicles that are unique to the collection. The Museum houses more than 230 vehicles from all brands, from classics to modern vehicles. The Museum also houses automobile memorabilia from a gas pump from a 1980 western gas station to old automobile signs and plate numbers.

Visiting Hours:

The Museum is open from  9am to 6pm.


It is an approximately one-hour south from Abu Dhabi on Harim road off highway E11.

Record-Breaking Vehicles

The Museum is home to unique record-breaking vehicles such as a Dodge Power Wagon 8 times larger than its original size. The Huge Dodge truck weighs 50 tons, has 4 bedrooms even has a sitting room and a balcony. The Huge Dodge Truck is also fully functional and off-road ready.

The Museum is also home to the world’s largest WW2 Willy’s Jeep, it is 400% larger than a normal jeep and equipped with large off-road tires. The Jeep can also be driven and taken to off-road excursion as it is fully functioning.

The Museum is also home to one of the world’s largest motorhome that is shaped like a globe and is 1,000,000 times smaller than the size of the planet and is fully equipped with 10 bedrooms, toilet and bath and a sitting room.



Everything 4×4

Dubai is widely known for its 4×4 off-road desert excursion and nothing tops a road trip than visiting one of the world’s unique collections of off-road vehicles.

You are greeted with a monster Mercedes Benz equipped with monster truck tires and fully drivable putting a G class to shame.

The Museum is home to specially customized vehicles such as the eight-wheeled drive Nissan Patrol with an extended wheelbase. The  4×4 Nissan Patrol is already a very capable vehicle for off-road excursion but the 8×8 Nissan Patrol takes it to another level.

The Museum is also home to a Dubai favorite, the Land Cruiser, the Museum has a vast array of Toyota Land Cruisers and Hilux Pick up truck from all decades that makes Toyota’s own collection seem small.

The Museum is home to several 4×4 icons such as the FJ Cruiser, Range Rovers, Nissan Patrols and Frontiers, highlighting the Regions affinity for four-wheel drive vehicles. The Museum is also home to some Military Grade vehicles such as a HUMVEE, Tracked and Wheeled APC vehicles. A 4×4 Lamborghini is also present in the Museum.


European Performance Vehicles:

The Museum is home to several Motoring Icons from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati. The Vehicles not only highlight performance but the curves and designs as well. Not all things are big in Dubai, the Museum is home to a vast collection of Mini’s from all models and colors. Mercedes and BMWs from all classes and year models dot the museum.

European classics can be found throughout the museum. A Mercedes with a steam engine from 1885 can be found in the Museum.


American Muscle:

Hotrods, Muscle Cars, and Drag Cars are present in the collection. If you want to travel from point A to point B in a straight line with the least time possible these are the cars for you. Present among the collections is Mustangs and Camaros.

Present in the collections is a New York Taxi, An American Police Car and other American Motoring Memorabilia. Corvettes stingrays and old Ford pickup trucks iconic to the seventies are in the collection.



Asian Icons

Performance and Function without compromise. The Museum is home to the Icons of the desert, the Toyota Land Cruiser collection. Even in the highways the Land Cruiser and Patrols go unchallenged in every terrain.


All Color of the Rainbow.

The Museum is home to the world renown Mercedes Benz rainbow collection. The 7 cars are painted with colors of the rainbow for each day of the week with their own unique motif.

All types of cars can be found in the Museum that will surely satisfy all breeds of motor-heads, from a purist, to speedsters and avid off-roaders there will always be a vehicle to satisfy your curiosity.

The National Auto Museum is also fun for the entire family as children will enjoy and can interact on some of the displays and exhibits of the Museum. Visiting the Museum is always worthwhile as it is unique and no other collection comes close to the completeness of the vehicles featured in the museum.
